There are so many famous psychic mediums sharing their service with the world that we couldn’t limit the list to just the 10 in this article. Here’s another list of 10 of the most respected and influential psychic mediums of today.
1. Noreen Renier
Noreen Renier is one of the most famous psychic mediums for good reason. When this seasoned intuitive started lecturing at the FBI academy in 1981, working with psychics was very much controversial!
Today, Renier is known as THE “Psychic Detective”, having worked on over 600 unsolved cases with varied law enforcement all over the world.
Her resume is impressive and one testimonial notes that as recently as 2013, at the age of 76, Renier was adventurous enough to take four flights from Orlando, Florida to Beira, Mozambique, and a further two flights to the coast of Mozambique to work on an unsolved homicide!
With a solid track record, Noreen Renier is still humble enough to note that “psychics do not solve crimes – police do”. She sees herself as another investigative tool that can be utilized in providing information to close cases once and for all. So humble! I love that!
2. Vicki Monroe
I have a great deal of respect for Vicki Monroe. She has been doing work in the media as a psychic for quite some time and was involved most recently in Investigation Discovery’s Cell Block Psychic.
In this three-part series of shows, Monroe visited with the families of murder victims across the country to help provide closure. She also spent time with the convicted killers and pieced together clues that only they and their victims could have known.
Vicki is well-known for her involvement in solving the high profile murder of Amy St. Laurent in her home state of Maine. As one of the most famous psychic mediums in America, the information Vicki provided was vital in finding Amy’s body and her murderer.
Vicki Monroe also holds a PhD in holistic healing and is the author of Understanding Spirit, Understanding Yourself. She is known for sharing advice for health on her blog. No doubt her expertise in this area is a compliment to her psychic mediumship skills!
3. Sally Morgan
Sally Morgan, also known to many as Britain’s “Best Loved Psychic”, began seeing Spirit when she was just a girl. She believes she inherited her psychic abilities from her grandmother, who was known as the Witch of Fulham.
In 2005, she was tested to be legitimate by Professor Gary Schwartz, a Harvard University PhD graduate. In fact, Dr. Schwartz regarded her as one of the best psychic mediums he had ever tested, rating her as one of the top five psychics in the world.
In 2007, she became one of the most famous psychic mediums in the world with the premiere of the UK television series Star Psychic. It’s said that she has given readings to some of the most influential people in the world, including Princess Diana.
Sally Morgan has made many television appearances and has written three bestselling books including Life After Death: Messages of Love from the Other Side
4. Concetta Bertoldi
Concetta Bertoldi is a woman who deserves her place on any list of famous psychic mediums. She’s a gifted clairsentient, despite the fact that she was born without hearing in one ear.
Her bestselling book Do Dead People Watch You Shower?
is by far one of my favorite books written by a psychic medium! This warm and humorous book became a best seller in 2008 and I remember devouring it in one night!
It was followed by the sequel, Do Dead People Walk Their Dogs?: Questions You’d Ask a Medium If You Had the Chance. Equally as wonderful!Concetta Bertoldi is a regular consultant for members of British royalty, politicians, and celebrities. She has a gregarious, affectionate way about her, no doubt due to her New Jersey Italian roots!
5. Sonya Fitzpatrick
Sonya Fitzpatrick is one of the most famous animal communicator’s of our time. She has had some very famous clients, including Ellen Degeneres and Tori Spelling.
Interestingly, Sonya Fitzpatrick, just like Concetta Bertoldi, was also born with hearing loss.
This physical challenge led to a special bond with animals, as it was easier for her to communicate with them than with humans.
Sonya Fitzpatrick reports that one of her first animal conversations was with her pet terrier, Judy. Through her clairsentience, Fitzpatrick was able to feel Judy’s pain in her own body as she aged.
You may know Sonya from the hit television series The Pet Psychic, or from the popular call-in radio show, Animal Intuition, which you can listen to on SiriusXM radio on Sunday mornings.
She lives in Texas with her animal friends including four dogs, a horse, nine cats, and three frogs!
6. Bill Phillips
Have you heard of the famous psychic medium Bill Phillips? If not, you will soon. His new book Expect the Unexpected will be released this fall. (I’ve already pre-ordered my copy!)
Like many psychic mediums, Bill was aware of his gifts when he was a young boy.
However, it was when his mother died when he was 14 and visited him after she passed, that led him to explore death and the Other Side for the rest of his teen years.
As a young man, Phillips finally embraced his gifts and began giving readings professionally. He’s been called part of the “next generation” of psychic mediums.
7. Janet Nohavec
It’s an understatement to say that famous psychic medium’s Janet Nohavec’s journey has been unique!
Janet Nohavec spent many years as a Roman Catholic nun who struggled to find acceptance for her gift of mediumship.
Nohavec left the convent and eventually started The Journey Within Spiritualist Church in 1996. She is co-founder of The Journey Within School for Mediumship and pastor and founder of The Journey Within Center for Spiritual Evolvement, Inc.
Janet teaches and demonstrates mediumship internationally and continues to live in New Jersey.
8. Rita Berkowitz
Rita Berkowitz is a Certified Medium who has served as an ordained minster at the Spiritualist Church in Quincy, Massachusetts. She is also an accomplished artist with an impressive bio of exhibitions and teaching credits. She both studied and taught at the Arthur Findlay College in Essex, England.
I have to say of all the psychic mediums that I’ve met throughout the years, Rita Berkowitz was the one who inspired my mediumship the most.
I remember taking Rita’s 6-week mediumship development class at Women of Wisdom in Easton, Massachusetts many years ago. During the class, Rita demonstrated her mediumship and connected to a few of our loved ones on the other side.
Watching Rita in action was like watching an artist at work! She worked with such grace and truly stepped into the personality of the young man on the Other Side. It was amazing!
Rita Berkowitz is known as “The Spirit Artist” because of her unique ability to sketch portraits of loved ones who have passed on to what she calls “the Higher Side of life.”
Her book, The Complete Guide Idiot’s Guide to Communicating with Spirits, is very special to me because she signed my copy when it was published.
Rita has been listed on many “Best” lists and I’m happy to include her on this list of famous psychic mediums as well.
9. Thomas John
You may be asking, who is Thomas John and why is he on this famous psychic mediums list?
Thomas John is a charismatic psychic medium who is sought after by celebrities and has acquired plenty of media coverage. He was an accomplished college scholar, but decided to pursue growing his intuitive abilities through metaphysical studies in New York rather than continue college.
He is known for making accurate psychic predictions about celebrities that have come to pass. Some of these predictions include the deaths of Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston, and also, Jennifer Lawrence winning an Oscar and tripping as she walked up the stairs to get it!
His book, Never Argue With a Dead Person (possibly the best book title in history), has a 5-star review!
Be on the lookout for his reality show which is currently in development.
10. Joanne Gerber
I definitely consider Joanne Gerber to be one of the most famous psychic mediums. From the Boston area, she’s an internationally recognized psychic medium.
When I first started on my journey, I drove over two hours to attend a all-day seminar that Joanne was presenting.
She is such a kind soul and I have wonderful memories of that day. At the end of the class, she gave us each a purple stone that is the color of an amethyst. To this day, I still have that stone on my bedroom dresser.
Joanne is a very successful medium and spiritual teacher with vast knowledge and education in this field. She has participated in the University of Arizona’s mediumship research project along with other noted mediums, including John Edward.
Joanne Gerber has appeared on the NBC Weekend Today Show, and featured prominently in the media. She is also featured as a psychic medium for The Boston Globe newspaper online edition, Chat with Psychic Joanne Gerber.
